YALLAPALOOZA! A Young Adult Literary Festival This Fall in Asheville!

It's perhaps not always so easy to remember this when you watch the news lately, but sometimes good things happen back-to-back-to-back, too. If you are a fan of young adult literature, then THIS IS YOUR SEASON.

We have an incredible line up of authors coming to Malaprop's in September and October this year, and we are celebrating them with a two-month-long festival called YALLAPOLOOZA!(Young Adult Literature lapalooza, yo)

This is a blend of the finest writers working today who hail from these here mountains and who are traveling to be with us. Most of these events are free and open to everyone, but we do have two special offsite events that require tickets. If you are not familiar with the writers yet, trust us when we say you will want to be!
